DICAM Methodology

ICDAM: internal Agile Methodology Development Company.

ICDAM is agile methodology that can be applied to internal company departments. Current agile methodology focuses on companies that develop software only. ICDAM is focused on large companies that have internal development departments.

ROLE DEFINITION:
There may be more people in team (mixed-roles), but it is so important that the following three roles are as a team. In this methodology, there are three main roles:
Expert: This role is applied to the person who has more technical knowledge in the department.
This role has three main responsibilities in a department

1) analysis, which is the best way to implement a project using technical resources available within the company. Many times the company’s resources are limited, so when the expert has to choose the best way to use these resources to implement a project. Before starting to make a new project, the expert to measure the company’s resources to make the new project, how the project should be allocated and the best technologies (Java, perl net, etc.). To develop this project company environment.

2) Try to improve and modernize the company tools (for example, try to upgrade version of Java, servers, etc versions). He is the person who looks for new versions of tools company.

3) Share knowledge with the rest of his team.

Knight: This part applies to persons who have business knowledge in the company in May. This person is normally to be the oldest person in the department. This role has four main responsibilities in the department:

1) After the technology measures are decided for the new project he is proposing, which is the best way to develop the project according to the type of users. He is the person who knows better business users.

2) Verify that the new company’s projects are adeccuated Affairs

3) Check whether there was a change of external affairs affecting the company, he will report to the rest of the team to make changes in all projects involved.

4) share his knowledge with the rest of the team.

King: This role is normally the head of department. King decided the best way to solve the problems between the wizard and knight, if there was no agreement on how to develop the project. King rules, he is king after all.

HOW TO WORK:

New project: Before starting to make a new project, the expert will spend a day or two after the best technical way to make the project according to company resources.

Next step: the wizard and knight have a meeting (one or two hours) and they must decide how to focus this project, if the wizard, and he disagreed horse, the king must decide how it will do.

Meeting Log: every day should meet to talk about the projects department, new versions of tools, and external changes affecting the project requirements in the department of their department.
